The short version

  • All payments go through Apple. Paper Giants never sees your payment details and can’t issue refunds directly.
  • Ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Panequill has a Free plan with one screen, so you can try it before you buy. Panequill Player on Apple TV is always free.

1. Requesting a refund

Pro and Business subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple. Under Apple’s rules, only Apple can issue refunds for App Store purchases, and Apple decides each request under its own policies. To ask for one:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account used to buy the plan.
  2. Choose I’d like to → Request a refund, pick a reason, and select the Panequill purchase.
  3. Submit the request. Apple will tell you the result, usually within a few days.

You can also start from the receipt email Apple sent you. For more help, see Apple’s guide, Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple.

If something went wrong, such as a charge for the wrong number of screens or a plan that didn’t apply to your organization, email us at support@panequill.com. We’ll help fix it, and we can help you make your case to Apple.

Nothing in this page limits any refund rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.

2. Cancelling a subscription

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

On iPhone or iPad

  1. Open Settings and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions, then Panequill.
  3. Tap Cancel Subscription.

On Mac

  1. Open the App Store and click your name.
  2. Click Account Settings, then Manage next to Subscriptions.
  3. Click Edit next to Panequill, then Cancel Subscription.

In Panequill

Go to More → Plan → Manage Subscription, which opens the same Apple settings. Only the organization’s Owner can buy or manage its plan.

Deleting the Panequill app or your Panequill account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it first.

3. What happens after a plan ends

  • You keep Pro or Business features until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • After that, the organization moves to the Free plan. Your slides, playlists, schedules and media stay where they are.
  • Free covers one screen and shows a small “Made with Panequill” watermark. Any other screens show “This screen isn’t included in your plan.” until you subscribe again or remove them.
  • Business-only features stop working: emergency alerts, proof-of-play reports and team roles.

4. Changing plans or screen packs

You can switch between Pro and Business, change your screen pack, or move between monthly and yearly billing under More → Plan. Apple applies the change and works out any proration under its subscription rules. Upgrades usually take effect right away. Downgrades usually take effect at your next renewal date.

5. Restoring purchases

If a plan you paid for isn’t showing, have the organization’s Owner open More → Plan and tap Restore Purchases, signed in to the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
